Mission Hills Historical Home Remodel

This whole house remodel of a Historical Property in Mission Hills provided the perfect balance of modern sophistication and upgrades while maintaining the original layout and design aspects that must be maintained per the Historical Society. The clients opted to go with green cabinets as a nod to the original kitchen, and we must say the cabinets were executed perfectly and fit the vibe of this century old house renovation all the way. We couldn’t do these homes without all the awesome trade partners we have built up over time that constantly come through for us. Shout out for the oak hood that was fabricated in-house at Structwell HQ.

Another stand-out detail in this build is the interior glass railing. The intention was to make the glass look clean, simple and disappear into the floor, however the planning and prep was anything but simple. The amount of work and coordination that went into sinking the beams, glass base and oak detailing for this effect that many may never get noticed was intensive, yet well worth it in our eyes. Pair this landing with recessed living wall niches, 6 skylights, and 10 windows and it all makes for a pretty awesome reading and relax area.
