Every home needs a space designed for quiet and relaxation. An area that can block out life’s stressful elements, and can immediately fill you with a sense of calm.

For this “conversation area” in a recent remodel, the owner was intent on creating a rustic charm that could transport you to a slower pace of life. We took very old barn timber beams and driftwood plank courtesy of Vintage Timberworks and used them to flank the ceiling. For the floor, 2 shades of thin brick were set in a basket weave pattern to compliment the old school cozy vibe of the room in this 100 year old house. Top it off with the italian stack stove from La Castellamonte and a boat load of windows looking out to the yard…..turned into a very unique and peaceful area!
